Driller/Assistant Driller Helper

 Performing of drilling, sampling and field testing activities with respect to standards.
 Assisting in the maintenance and servicing the drill rigs, drilling equipment and tools.
 Operates machines to flush earth cuttings or bows dust from hole.
 Assembles and positions machines, augers and casing pipes.
 Verifies depths and level of boring position
 Retracts auger to force discharge dirt from hole.
 Start, stops and controls drilling speed of machine and insertion of casing into hole.
 Signals crane operator to move the equipment.
 Drives truck or tractor to work site.
 Operates hoist to lift power line poles into position.
 Monitoring drilling operation and strata being drilled to determine need to adjust drilling or insert casing into hole.
